Populism in Foreign Policy and its Diverse International Manifestations

Política, Revista de Ciencia Política is a biannual publication of the Faculty of Government at the University of Chile. The journal has been published since 1982 and it enjoys broad readership throughout Latin America. Its main goal is to promote and publish cutting-edge research on the most recent trends in the field of political science. A core ambition of Política, Revista de Ciencia Política is to also support the scientific progress of political science in Chile and Latin America.

In this call for papers, we invite you to send articles for peer review that cover the different dimensions and perspectives of “Populism in Foreign Policy and its Diverse International Manifestations”. This number will be coordinated by guest editor Dr. Leslie Wehner, Reader at the Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies at the University of Bath, UK.

We also welcome regular submissions on other topics of research in political science and its sub- areas, which will be considered for publication in the December issue. Submissions should be original articles not being considered or under review elsewhere. We accept submissions in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Please follow the editorial guidelines before submitting your work. Articles should no exceed 8000 words. All submissions will be double-blind peer reviewed. Accepted articles will be published in the second issue (December) of 2022. We will close this call and stop receiving submissions for this Issue on 26 September 2022.
