We intend to expose the treatment that Chilean and comparative doctrine has given to the effect that brings the lack of motivation of an administrative act. While we see in it a formalist analysis of motivation, although sometimes in connection with constitutional principles, some jurisprudence oscillates in treating it as an essential formality vice essentially or simply as an illegality.
