The presidential regime in Chile: some elements for interpretation

Abstract

This paper will discuss the presidential regime in Chile through the criteria offered by the Latin American presidentialism. Through referral to the Chilean constitutional history, it is intended to account for the dynamic and diverse of our system of government, issues to be considered in the interpretation of the presidential regime in the current Constitution.
